A few basics for every setup
- Use your own manual. Fit, cleaning, water type, filter care, and compatible accessories vary. Follow the instructions for your machine and mask.
- Keep the air path clear. Mask vents intentionally release exhaled air. Keep vents and the machine’s air inlet unobstructed; don’t cover the machine with bedding.
- Clean as directed. Do not add essential oils or unapproved products to the humidifier. Ozone and UV cleaners can pose risks or damage equipment; follow manufacturer instructions and FDA guidance.
- Ask early. Equipment providers can help with fit, worn parts, and compatible supplies. Your sleep clinician can review symptoms, treatment data, and prescribed settings.
